    Greg Eng Metalsmith is not a Blacksmith Corporation and is not Blacksmith Incorporated, the business is a sole proprietorship. A Blacksmith is different from a Metalsmith. Wrought-iron is now made of steel. Hand-forged iron is now steel and is not made by a blacksmith but is forged by a metalsmith. Ornamental iron is really steel, most metalwork is not wrought by a blacksmith, but is steel hand forged by a metalsmith. A smithy can be called a blacksmith or a smith, and blacksmith can be spelled with a capital B as in Blacksmith. A Metalsmith is a more accurate term for an artist-blacksmith. Wrought-iron or hand-forged iron is often associated with the word blacksmith or metalsmith. Ornamental iron is another term often used for metalwork created by a blacksmith or a metalsmith, smithy, or a smith. Blacksmith is not a completely accurate term but is often used in place of the term Metalsmith. Wrought-iron or hand-forged iron are terms used (improperly) with blacksmith. Metalsmith is a better term, ornamental iron, metalwork, or architectural metalwork are also terms used in the building industry.
